The board meeting of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) was held in Moscow on the 24th of November 2020. Dmitry Zezyulin, the President of the Committee on inventive, rationalization and patent and license activity (Bureau Association “League for the support of Defense Industry Enterprises”) and Moscow City Organization of the all-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers took part in the work of the board meeting. The meeting addressed the following issues:
development of Eurasian integration in the sphere of intellectual property;
supervisory powers of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) as a special element of public administration;
discussions on the draft workplan of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property’s board meeting for 2021.
Grigory Ivliev, Head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Andrey Solonovich, Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Anzhela Kus, Head of Department for Control, Supervision and Legal Protection of State Interests and other officials spoke at the meeting. In their reports they focused their attention on the revitalization of inventive, patent and licensing activities in industrial enterprises of the Russian Federation. Therefore, Moscow City Organization of the all-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers with the support of the Committee on inventive, rationalization and patent and license activity will hold an extended meeting on this topic on the 15th of December 2020 in Moscow.
