Russian inventors got highest awards at the International Invention and Design Competition "IIDC 2018" in Hong Kong.
On December 5, 2018 the International Invention and Design Competition "IIDC 2018" which took place within the framework of the SmartBiz Expo 2018 exhibition to Hong Kong, P. R. China opened. The exhibition took place from December 5 to 7th, 2018.
The Chinese invention and innovation society has performed as the organizer of the International Invention and Design Competition "IIDC" with the assistance of the International federation of associations of inventors (IFIA) and Council of Hong Kong for Trade Development.
This year about 400 inventors and producers of innovative products from Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Poland, Russia, Great Britain, China, the USA, Iran, Korea and other industrially developed states participated in an exhibition.
International innovation club "Archimedes" organized a collective exposition of the Russian inventors and industrialists.
Among them representatives of the following regions of Russia acted: Moscow - Lyulka Design Bureau PJSC “UEC-UMPO” subsidiary (inventions in the sphere of mechanical engineering), NUST «MISiS») (inventions in the area of metallurgy and materials sciences), JSC NIIAS (inventions in the sphere of railway transport); St. Petersburg - Biochemical Agent LLC, the Republic of Mari El , Yoshkar-Ola - "The Volga state technological university" (inventions in the field of biotechnologies and medicine).
The presented projects and inventions attracted great interest of potential investors and consumers.
The joint exposition of the club "Archimedes" was visited by the Vice-Consul of the Russian Federation in the special administrative district of Hong Kong, People's Republic of China Dmitry Frolov, who held a business meeting and negotiations with Russian inventors on further cooperation in the field of innovation and technology.
Also, the chairman of the International innovation club "Archimedes", Dmitry Zezyulin held negotiations on issues of further interaction with the president of the International Federation of Inventive Associations (IFIA) Alireza Rastegar and the president of Inventors Society of Croatia Liliaan Pedisic.
All exhibits passed competitive assessment of jury and were awarded top awards of both an exhibition, and the international partners.
Projects of the Russian participants got silver and gold medals and special awards of an exhibition and also special awards of the international partners of Archimedes Club: medals of Thailand promotion of innovations and inventions Association (ATIP) and of Indonesia promotion of innovations and inventions Association (INNOPA).
The project of Lyulka Design Bureau PJSC “UEC-UMPO” subsidiary- the device for starting of the gas-turbine engine was awarded with the Grand Prix of the exhibition.
