Delegation of Moscow city organization VOIR took part in VI Meeting of Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISC)
On September 3-4th, 2018 VI Meeting of TISCs took place on the platforms of two universities in Saint-Petersburg: Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and St. Petersburg State University. The Meeting is an event aimed at integration of inventors, innovators, business and experts in the field of intellectual property from all over the country.
Annually the meeting of TISCs is taking place for the specialists in the field of the intellectual property in order to boost the effectiveness of patent information usage in the development of technology commercialization processes based on the usage of Centers’ sources. The meeting is the platform for the discussions of important documents regulating the activity of TISC network.
Among the key topics discussed were: patenting and usage of inventions in the field of medicine and pharmacy, new concepts of the development of a new TISC system, best practices.
At St. Petersburg Polytechnic University the presentation of the projects took place where Mr. Dmitry Zezjulin awarded young inventors with illustrated albums “Gold fund of Russian inventors” and wished them to take their place in that fund in future.Director of Rospatent (Federal service of intellectual property of Russian Federation) made a speech on the state of inventive activity and its development in Russia. Also during his speech, he highly appreciated the role of Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative technologies “Archimedes” as a very useful and important event for the development of inventive and patent-licensing activity in Russian Federation.
The Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) is a program of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation) which provides innovators in developing countries with access to locally based, high quality technology information and related services, helping them to exploit their innovative potential and to create, protect, and manage their intellectual property (IP) rights.
