The enlarged meeting of the Organizing Committee of the 20th Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes-2017" was held in the Conference Room of the Federal Agency for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) on March 23.
On the agenda there were the issues related to the organization of the Salon "Archimedes-2017", the approval of the composition of the International Jury and the Expert Commission, the discussion of the Business and the Competitive Program, the approval of the Salon's exhibition plan.

Among the participants of the meeting were the representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, All-Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergencies, Center of Innovative Development Russian Railways, Moscow agency of innovations, The Government of Irkutsk Region, Moscow Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers), Bauman Moscow State Technical University, National University of Science and Technology "MISIS" and others.
The President of Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes" Zezyulin Dmitry Ivanovich welcomed the participants of the meeting and gave the detailed information on the preparations for the 20th Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes-2017". His presentation was accompanied by a video presentation of the upcoming event. The participants of the meeting also watched a commercial movie about the Salon.
The issue of conducting "100 best inventions of Russia" competition was discussed in the interests of Rospatent jointly with the International Innovation Club "Archimedes", "The best innovation project in interests of the building industry", "The best innovation project in interests of Russian Railways" and other competitions.
As Mr. Zezulin remarked that the purpose of the Salon is primarily to promote the development of the market of intellectual property in Moscow and in the regions of Russia, as well as to promote the innovation activity in Russia, to increase the demand for the innovative products, popularize the inventive and rationalizing activities and cooperate with the developing countries.

Mr. Zezyulin noted that our Russian community is the most creative in the world. The import substitution policy requires the improvement of the traditions of the commercialization the results of intellectual activity, including the promotion of the Russia-made trademarks.
In conclusion, the Deputy Director General of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Mr. Zhamoydik stressed that "Rospatent" traditionally supports the Salon "Archimedes". "All the participants of the enlarged meeting of the Organizing Committee noted that the exhibition is being modernized from year to year, and the delegations of The International Innovation Club "Archimedes" visit the foreign Forums such as: "Euromold" (Germany), The International Invention and Design Competition and exhibition "IIDC", The International Fair of Inventions "Taipei", The International Fair of Technique and Technical Achievements (Belgrade, Serbia) ", he said. Mr. Zhamoydik also noted that "Rospatent" will support the Salon in future and he wishes a great success to the organizing committee in realization of the new development concept.
