From 27 to 30 October 2016 Nuremberg hosted the international trade fair "Ideas. Inventions. New products – IENA 2016". The delegation of the International innovation club "Archimedes" and MGO VOIR participated in this event for the first time. The fair was held in a modern Congress and exhibition center of Nuremberg (Messezentrum), hall No. 12.
IENA 2016 have united inventors and innovators from 28 countries: Egypt, Algeria, Angola, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Germany, Georgia, Hong Kong, Iraq, Iran, Qatar, Congo, Croatia, Lebanon, Macau, Malaysia, Moldova, Austria, Poland, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, Slovenia, Spain, Taiwan, USA. All the participants presented more than 700 innovative projects in various fields such as: electrical engineering, energy equipment, engineering, medicine, public address system, environmental protection, safety, transport, agriculture, games/hobby.
In the framework of the IENA is annually held competition of innovative projects of young inventors. This exposition occupies a large part of the hall of the exhibition centre.
The delegation of the club "Archimedes" has included representatives from Lyulka design bureau PJSC “UEIA” subsidiary, Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy, Don State Technical University.
During four days of the exhibition the ARCHIMEDES stand was center of attention of professional visitors and experts, common visitors. The delegation members and volunteers actively communicated with the guests, had opportunity establish new contacts with German and foreign partners, including representatives of European patent offices, patent attorneys, inventive associations. On the second day of the exhibition "ARCHIMEDES" stand was visited by the members of the jury, which was a presentation of innovative development of the members of our delegation.
The result of fruitful work of all members has resulted in the following well-deserved awards:
- ВРТ-200-2 Railway Traffic Weight and Diagnostic Monitoring System, Don State Technical University (bronze medal);
- Preventive forecasting technology of cytostatics polychemotherapy efficiency in the case of epithelial tissue malignant neoplasms, Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy (bronze medal);
- Optical interferential device for measurement of infinitesimal displacement objective surface control, Don State Technical University (silver medal).
The project “AL-31ST gas turbine engine” A. Lyulka design bureau PJSC “UEIA” subsidiary with won a special prize of the German Association of inventors. This project was also awarded a diploma of reference of the Association of inventors of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The team of developers and inventors of the A. Lyulka Design Bureau awarded with a special award for contribution to the development of innovative activities in mechanical engineering from the Association of inventors of Portugal.
At the 29th of October at the IENA 2016 was held General meeting of the IFIA – International Federation of inventors ' associations, in which participated representatives of the MGO VOIR (full member from January 2016). During the meeting participants were discussing important topics concerning the development of inventive activity at the national level, support for individual inventors and application possibilities of IFIA tools on behalf of international inventive community. MGO VOIR will continue to promote inventive and innovative activities in the Russian Federation due to new opportunities provided by membership in the IFIA.
In summary, stay in Nuremberg made a pleasant impression on all members of the club’s delegation. Most of purposes have been achieved: the members of the delegation were able to establish contacts with new partners, identify common plans with present partners, expand cooperation in new areas, plan the congress and exhibition events next year aimed at a comprehensive international exchange of experience in innovation and invention activities.
